Kuyt should have done better there, I thought he was slow.

Poor pass from Carra to Arbeloa there...BC throw deep.

Gerrrard looks lively today.  I think we'll see him stamp his authority as the game goes on.

Pennant makes a poor decision, crossing into a blue-coloured box when he had Arbeloa on the overlap.

Poor passing at the moment: long balls from the CBs or Masch.  BC are letting Masch have a lot of the ball deep.

Nice cross ? Give me a break......

Your bias is showing, mate.  It was a great ball to Pennant.

I just don't rate babel, dude..... I just think our LW should be of better quality. If he is playing striker.....maybe. But as a LW, I don't rate him.

I think there's a BC weakness to be exploited when Babel's on the ball.  Jinking runs and then a good square ball to Gerrard on the edge of the box will be available from time to time against their deep-sitting defence.

We need to hit the target and look for rebounds when shooting from distance.

FFS, another wasteful long ball from Hyypia goes out for a GK.  Pass and move through the middle, lads...the space is there.

For me the problem is both Kuyt and Veronin are playing much too deep, and with Babel cutting inside and Gerrard trying to support, they are getting in each others way.
