Is anyone else watching this? Channel 4 9-10pm (so you may catch it on 4+1 if you're reading now!)

8 Millionaire business entrepeneurs are sent to a Ugandan village to help revitalise the community. One of them is Steve Morgan and I can't help but be relieved he didn't take us over. Although his intentions seem good, he refuses to listen to anyone else's opinions and by his own admission can't work in committee situations.

Anyway...it looks like an interesting programme. They're going to try and build a hotel/school for people on working holidays/gap years to pay to come and teach english.

Steve Morgan is also determined to pump water to the village despite the protests of the others.

I kinda agree with Steve Morgan, getting water to those areas is important and the others are focussing too much on the stupid hotel.

Can't help but thinking this is Reality TV gone too far...A bunch of millionaire philantropists...who, when they decide they've had enough, can hop on a private jet and fly back into the lap of luxury.
Media whores is a spot-on comment !!
If they were that determined to do good with the millions they have, why prostitute themselves for air-time ? What's the need other than to raise their profiles ?
