Well at the moment nothing much is happening so I guess they aint needed. We'll see when the champs league matches are going on whether good choices have been made.

While we are now blessed with quite a few Mods, I just hope you decide to have a clamp down on abusive posts and flame wars as they seem to be getting out of hand lately. Its becoming more and more prevalent and ruining any chance of decent football chat in many of the threads. I don't think its necessary to ban anyone or even give a yellow card, just a PM should be enough in most cases. It seems to be almost accepted practise at the moment that if someone disagrees with someone else's opinion they are automatically called an idiot, a w@nker or worse.

I know I have done my fair share of abusive posts in the past, but I have been making an effort not to lately. At least its something to keep you busy for a day or two, or you could just take the easy way out and tell me to fk off.

I agree, there is no need for insults. The only person ive insulted in all my time on this forum is LFC2007 and thats only because of his "I have to make sure everything I type is 100% accurate and ties in with facts" attitude. I dont mind likkle insults as in "Your an idiot ! " that comes quite often in my life, i say often, I mean regular ! Bit of common sense and the worlds happier !

You see mods like generals? you make an analogy with the WWII??

You think you're the one to say what we need when you either joined the forum in May or you're a banned member?

That 8 year old reasoning reminds me of a numpty we used to have here  :nod Anyhow, not a problem, if it's you, at some point you won't be able to control yourself minimally and will be banned. It's a matter of time, no wonder why you don't think more mods are necessary :nod

Pis.ses me off that, and I will just delete the posts that include personal abuse.

Well done lads and good luck with it. I think that LFC has done the right thing in going for more numbers, it gets a bit much when there's only two or three of you doing it. I'm sure you'll all do a great job and I'll do my best to not be a pain in the erse. As long as you don't start dishing out cards for being a boring tw@t who goes on about rotation constantly I should be all right :D

I was posting and when submitted it was locked :) .

But not a bad idea locking it to be honest because people were starting to discuss harshly and we shouldn't do that. So it's a good chill down. Maybe the discussion could be resumed tomorrow, discussions are always milder 3 days after the game than 1 day after.
