all cable channels are available, there is no hidden cost, just a one off payment and you get back up in terms of if it is decoded then you can get the new ones via e-mail.

Gutted we can't get cable, I've been looking at an alternative (cheaper) Sky setup but not one of these ones where you have to pay out £400-600 for a new dish and box. :(

I can list all the Channels on EUROVOX if thats what you meant, basically you get all the Channels you get on Cable including all the adult Channels, Setanta, Rangers and Celtic T.V and M.U.F.C T.V (Apparently you will also get Liverpool T.V on the 20th of September :;):  , there are a couple of the movie channels missing and some of the music ones and obviously due to the dispute between SKY and Virgin you don't get Sky One.

No there are no hidden costs you pay for the box and thats it,downgrade your Cable package to the basic one, then just unplug it and plug the cable into your Eurovox,DO NOT CANCEL CABLE, you get full instructions on how to set the box up, when new channels become available you just start from scratch and re-tune the box and it picks them up.

I have 2 sky boxes at home, one in my living room and Sky+ in my back room is there any way of getting Sky on my TV in my bedroom without buying another box or having to slap down tons of cables?

I've got Sky+ multi room at the moment, but I wanna get one of those setups where you can get all the scandinavian channels (for the footie), etc all for free.

I think Ciggy has one of these but they cost a lot to buy if I remember correctly  ???

Has anyone else who has a EUROVOX cable box had a problem with it lately ? Mine went off a couple of days ago and now just says updating code, I have preformed a master re-set on it several times and still no luck, apparently Virgin are now on to these illegal boxes and are finding ways to stop them from working, loads of my mates are having the same problem so maybe its just a Manchester thing for now but I am sure they will get around to all areas soon enough.

Virgin Media have applied a code update which has crippled cable boxes across the country which were used for receiving cable TV illegally.

Cable boxes affected include the Eurovox, Nokia Dbox, Starview and Kryptview.

Users receiving cable TV illegally receive the error message “Please wait…code been updated” and no channels can be accessed.

According to industry analyst Ian Waller, “The change is causing false keys to be recorded on a ROM7 update, usually only 1 or 2 characters are wrong, this has been happening on ROM10 and ROM11 updates for the last year. A genuine card can handle the change, an emulator can not.”

Virgin Media applied a similar change around a year ago, and it took almost a week for firmware updates for chipped boxes to keep pace.

However, from reports coming in the changes by virgin may not be a simple one off event, but instead being applied on a daily basis.

Although updates are available on the internet which try to keep track of the changes, if the code changes are being implemented on a daily basis this could make it very difficult for firmware updates to keep track.

The result would be a victory for Virgin in their battle against cable piracy, and an end to the widespread use of cable boxes for receiving free cable TV.

:(

Below are a few places where you can get more information, hopefully someone will find away to get around this problem soon

My mate's getting one of these boxes soon..  I'll take his advice before I shell out but I'd obviously be interested if it's all working fine and all that.
