Some girl just invited me to join this site called fubar and i must say that it is the biggest pile of pants i've ever been unfortunate enough to see. From what I can gather, it's meant to be an online pub. Well, unless vodka is going to start flowing from my USB points, i fail to see the point. All it is, is a bunch of people sitting around, at home, or at work, pretending to be at the pub. Someone actually sent me a bottle of beer. It's just a little icon with "corona" written underneath it! What's the funking point!? I'd rather be down the pub! And if I'm not at the pub, i don't want to be reminded that i'm not at the pub! Wtf!

Anyone else in on this? Anyone want to go for a pint? We can't actually drink them because they're just a punch of pixles. Still, pint's a pint i guess. NO IT iSN'T!!! If i want to go to the pub, i'm going to jog on, not log on. How would you like your martini? Shaken or in a winzip file? Perhaps some virtual peanuts? Then we can log out to go and have a fag! Really? Can anyone tell me what the point is?

Don't worry, you're perfectly normal and I agree you.

It's just people not having the balls to meet people face to face. We've all done glorious approaches to girls with great victorias and great defeats from which you learn lessons in the pub (could be another classic thread).

But the alcohol (well tbh I have a friend that doesn't drink for medical reasons and he's the king of the night as the next mate), the game of glances, the chit chats, the beers, the footie talks with the friends, the exagerated comradeship that alcohol gives, is the point. A virtual pub is a heap of cráp.
