Tv theme music - Your favourite & how it makes you feel

With the death of Luciano Pavarotti, I was thinking about the theme tune that was used for Football Italia 90 and consider this to be my favourite (and probably the best) music that I've ever heard as the music for a tv programme.  It gives me goose bumps and I think back to those summer days when we were so close to winning the world cup, Gazza, David Platts goal, Liniker.

Other tunes I like would be Dr Who, the theme to the Tour de France on Channel 4 back in the 90's and the early TOTP theme (Led Zep).

Any thoughts

I've got a few really. When i look back on the 1980s, that really was THE decade for theme tunes. A-Team, Thundercats, He-Man... all legendary. But my all time fave would have to be MASK, the cartoon where the cars change into... well, cars with guns. The theme tune is brilliant. Real 80s rock with a bit of synth in it. It reminds me of my childhood and some great times and toys.

Also, the simpsons theme tune needs a shout. It isn't particularly brilliant in terms of its composition, but when you hear it, it feels warm and familiar, and you know that you're in for a good time. Ren & Stimpy had a wicked theme too.

MASK Theme tune

The 80s had so many good theme tunes, mostly cheesy rock written by Mike Post but all catchy as hell. He also did Quantum Leap - another classic

I'm now gonna spend the next hour looking up theme tunes on youtube. Thanks you guys

As a kid it was definitely the A Team.

As a teenager it was definitely Baywatch.

As an adult (some laugh that :D ) it is, without a shadow of a doubt, The Sopranos.
