A new manager statistically boosts a teams spirit, self confidence and motivation !Is mr. Benitez the man with these skills ?
I want L`pool to be up there with Gunners, Chelski and Manure. Will he make it happen ?  :kungfu:

Apparently before he was a football coach he was Mr Motivator on Gmtv hang on wrong dude.
:p

Soz seriously he has got the cudos from his time in Spain but the most important difference ,other than being a better tactician than GH, is that he is coming here as a winner at the top level. He will want to achieve what he did last season as minimum just as a personal goal although he will not have the pressure of delivering in his first year, again another aspect which was dragging GH downwards or rather outwards towards the Exit.
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

Benitez' record is top class and has some good resources at his disposal at Liverpool but given the current climate in the Premiership it would be a wonderful achievement if he won the league.

There is no guarantee that he will succeed and he has a massive job ahead of him, but fingers crossed he will.

So far the signs are good. I think the big difference he will make is the training methods used. At the mestija he had cameras all around the ground to monitor each player for workrate, movement and time on the ball, thats gotta be a good thing? Plus a few players have already said that the training is far more intense than under GH but that they are enjoying it more too. Hes had them in twice a day everyday so far with a lot more ball work involved. Looks like their gonna have to start earning their money!

rafa will be like every other manager of the modern game. he will be given little time to produce the goods. the early signs are good no rash signings . he.s taking his time , lets be honest we don, t have the time or the money for a another failure. i honestly beleive he his the man for the job. :) :) :)

I think that the board have explained to him about the money GH wasted and they don't want that again, personally I think he is the man for the job as you only have to look at his past record

I think he is looking good so far, the players seem to be happy and working hard and his mentality and past record is second to none...time will tell though I guess

In a nutshell he will work wonders for us simply through tactics and team spirit.

I dont want this to look like a pop at GH but i dont think Benitez will take a approach where he puts a arm around the shoulder if players are'nt doing the buisness for him over a certain period of time. If his players dont produce im sure he will look to improve in the area's that need it sooner than some of us may think.

I think he need to be careful with the money and unless he is absolutely sure what he has on hand, he is not going to waste any money even if it means to play Biscan and other so called underachievers. I think it would be amazing if Rafa help wins the title simply from his tactics without too many turnover on players.

i'm not prepared to make a real judgement on benitez until after the first game at spurs. then we will all be able to form some opinion on how the team will be set up and how we are likely to perform over the course of the season. all i know is that the guy comes here with one hell of a reputation. his recent record speaks for itself but the premiership is a different kettle of fish to the game in spain. getting into the top three would be a great achievement this season along with a couple of good cup runs. benitez has also come out and said that he feels it will take him around six months to get his english up to scratch, so once that happens the players will benefit. :)
