I don't think it's biased treatment. I just think it's just a fact that linesmen and refs simply don't know how to deal with someone as tall as Crouch on the pitch. If you tower above someone, and you stand beside them and contest for the ball, 9 times out of 10 it will look like you've foulded the smaller guy, or obstructed him due to your size. I don't think it's a bias. Well, I'd like to think not.

Small man syndrome is also known as tall poppy syndrome. When a man/woman is to tall, those who are inferior like to...take them down. Also, note the below.

It is said that small men who carry excessive Y chromosomes are said to be aggressive due to their small size.

They then join positions of power so they can prove/show their strength through other means.

Eg. Refs and umps.

And I didn't say all short umpires and refs have short man syndrome or ARE smell men. Just that excessive Y chromosome coupled with angst of tall poppies = case against crouch. If you didn't get the joke, perhaps an investment in a sense of humor is in need. There's one thing to be passionate about football but there's another to be passionate to being a PC :censored:

Oh sorry I wasn't born for stand-up or comedy festivals. Simply laughing at the fact of how out-of-hand the ump vs crouch situation is getting.
