We are top of the league - Say we are top of the league

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby dollface » Wed Sep 05, 2007 1:13 pm

I know this is so off-topic, but I need a little assistance.

I've never been to a Liverpool match before. I'm from Australia and have been following LFC ever since I was a wee girl of 7.

I came to the U.K in hopes that maybe I could see 'em play.

Has anybody ever sent in an post application and actually been successful and what's the chances of me being successful? :/

I'm so keen to go but it costs an arm and a leg if you're not a member!

Im Fenerbahce fan.But my heart with liverpool and I have been supporting liverpool far away. I think this year, you are the best.Your staff is very big and good quality this year.specially, new players done  '' torres, voronin, babel, arbeloa vs...'' contributed to games.so riise moved on the middle of left wing. team defence be more stronger than last year.I hope, liverpool will win the champions league again. But you dont talk early  for Primier league. because league is 38 week and big marathon.

You can't help people being excited though, its not so much that we are top of the league its that only ourselves and Arsenal have looked halfway decent this season and we are finally playing some great football. That is something to be excited about, we are really moving in the right direction now but it is a hell of a long way to go yet.

It's looking good though.  :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock

The worst thing a supporter can do is continue to be ignorant to the basic facts.

I’m indifferent to this season so far, I have kept my feet well grounded, when the team beat Derby 6-0, I was pleased, but I knew I had to display a sense of perspective. This is just a blip, along with every other season; I have some doubts in regard to the team and manager, but who doesn’t?

Where have I ignored the facts? This season has been a mixture of what is good with the team and what is bad about the team. Four good results, matched by four bad results, there is little to be pleased or dissatisfied about, it is simply another season as far as I’m concerned. I’m used to the inconsistency; I’m used to the highs and the lows.

That said, I can see why people are angry and upset, the players do not deserve to take home their wages with such inept performances.

Maybe this will help ?

I don’t dabble in the lowest form of wit, I’m educated enough to use other forms of wit, I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

Not to worry, he'll go out and get a shirt with 'Rafa' on the back once we've turned Everton over......and then burn it should we get a bad result afterwards.
