2-0 to us....think we should go on to get a cricket score in the 2nd half.....

1)Pennant is playing well ....He is consistantly our best performer

2)Alonso and Mash midfield combo looking pretty good there. But would like to see Alonso play further up the pitch...He is playing too deep to my liking (unless he keeps scoring goals from half-way line

)

3)Torres is showing class..

4)Kuyt is getting on the chances but his finishing is way off..comeon kuyt...Your finishing is much better than that.

5)Babel - i know he has scored a goal...but is he a winger

Pennant plays well on the right....He goes to the left and plays well too. But babel ? He might be a good support striker...but he ain't a winger....

Anyway, happy with the display.

ok a few points.

we are playing well considering the changes, we don't look in any danger and it seems we will be top of the league tonight.

kuyt is giving us a lesson in bad finishing and poor control, so nothing new there, pennant is playing well again, torres looks a class apart from everyone else,

babael is very frustrating but took his goal brilliantly

anyway lest hope we drub them in the second half, we have now had nine different goalscorers this season

who do you think is rafa? i think pennant has played well every game

Gerrard followed by Carra, followed by Agger, followed by Reina, followed by Torres, followed by Arbeloa.

I don't get the whole Pennant hype.

He doesn't do much wrong anymore (unlike his start in a red shirt) but he doesnt offer enough for me as a right winger. He never ever tries to beat his man and whip a ball in and never offers much of a threat down the right wing.

I can think of 10 players in the Premiership I would rather have there than him.
