ive been saying that for weeks cigs, they gave her sleeping pills and killed her by accident, the moved the body. this is why the others with them are also suspected of involvement

Bless the poor little mite if true and image the backlash the Mccanns will get for fooling the public and the millions of donations that the general public have given.
Also the costs and time wasting of this enquiry.

Madeleine: PJ now does their questionings at people's homes instead

PJ has adopted a new strategy in the questionings they do regarding the Madeleine case. The authorities have been going to people's houses to hear the witnesses instead of receiving them at their headquarters in Portimão, as would be usual.

According to this Thursday's DN, that was the tactic which was used to hear Pamela Fenn, the neighbour of the McCann's couple at the resort.

Pamela was heard for four hours last Monday, in the apartment where she lives, right above the one where Madeleine dissapeared. However, yesterday she denied to have talked to PJ and guaranteed to "know nothing" about Madeleine McCann.

The same method has been used to question the employees of the Ocean Club, where the family was spending their vacation with several other British couples. The employees have been heard at the resort itself, far away from the journalists eyes.

One of the situations which surprises the authorities and Ocean Club's staff the most, is the fact that Maddie's siblings, who were sleeping in the same bedroom, didn't wake up, not even when more than 20 people entered the room looking for Madeleine.

According to several sources, it was a habit for Gerry and Kate McCann to leave their kids at home, while they dined or went out at night. There is some suspicion that the kids were under the effect of sedatives.

Intercepted telephone calls and emails between the McCanns and their friends have "confirmed the death of Madeleine" say police, according to one Portuguese newspaper today. The intercepts are said to have been made in a joint operation conducted by Portuguese and British police officers.

Diario de Noticias reports investigators have already concluded that the missing four-year-old was killed in the apartment where she slept in Praia da Luz.

It says that Maddy's parents, Kate and Gerry McCann (right), and their friends who were holidaying at the Ocean Club, will be brought in for further questioning. Police are awaiting new tests from the McCanns' Renault Scenic.

According to another paper, Jornal de Noticias, police want to examine inconsistencies in the statements of Kate and Gerry McCann, who were interviewed separately late into the night early on in the investigation. In particular, they want to focus on a three-hour period in which only the McCanns saw Madeleine.

Respected news agency Lusa quotes one police source saying that they think "there's light at the end of the tunnel" and that the authorities have "an idea of what could have happened" to the four-year-old.

Police have known "for a month" that Madeleine had died in the apartment, it is widely reported. The tabloid newspaper 24 Horas says that the police are looking for Madeleine's body in the sea, helped by English sniffer dogs. They have intensified searches around the nearby town of Lagos and along the Algarvian coast, it says.

Bit weird the night Maddy vanished the fact that they said they where checking every half hour, but the night they went to that Chaplins bar nearly 1 killiometer away not one person checked, surely people would check 1 killiometer away more so than in the hotel grounds bar?

The news on this girly have been quite abundant and have not faded as of late.

I read and heard something similar to what Peewee brings but apparently it was overruled that the parents had to do something with that some days back. If she died in an accident and the parents instead of facing their guilt tried to make profit out of this, then I could barf right here and right now.

But I think it's best to wait and see, and let the police make their job.

That includes some of the press remarks, and that includes the parents themselves who are saying in Spain things like they're sure Maddi is in Spain. They shouldn't say that because they're not the police, and even if they knew such a thing it would be bad for the investigation.

Things like this really leave me speechless. So has the shot kid and readint that thread this morning.

There have been a lot of inconsistencies and oddities since Madelines disappearance, no forced entry, the hotels babysitting facilites not being used, the regularity with which the Children were left alone (how could they be confident the kids wouldn't wake up? sedated?)even the reported times that the kids were checked upon.
Unfortunatly the British press and public have been blinkered by the status of the parents and instead attack the Portugese Authorites, printing stories with the theme of taking incredulous offence when the parents were questioned along the lines of having had something to do with it. I have thought there was more to the story than what we were fed, but thats the cynic in me.

the sleeping pills was a thought i had weeks ago mate, i am not aware of any press sources for it, maybe ciggy can shed light on her source with regards to the twins not waking up

The Pj has adopted a new strategy on the inquiries they are now performing. An example fo that was the audition made on Monday to Pamela Fenn, wich occured in her house instead of the police headquarters in portimão.

By what the DN could gather, the Pj is also hearing the resort staff on the resort itself away from the eyes of journalists and public curiosity.

Pamela Fenn, witness to Madeline's case, was inquired for four hours by the Pj in the apartement where she lives, above from the one where madeline went missing.

Yesterday, however, as she was parking her beige mercedes in a private parking lot , Pamela Fenn denied having spoken to the Pj and guaranteed "knowing nothing" about Madeline McCann or any roberies in the area, " Haven't seen nothing, don't know nothing. Please leave me alone! I never spoke and don't want to speak with any journalists" she stated, showing how fed up she is of the media circus at her doorstep.

This version was how ever contradicted by a familly member that guaranteed to the journalists that the inquiry to pamela fenn centered on the characteristics of a man who tried to rob her apartment, about three weeks before the McCanns arrival to Praia da Luz, as well as to the cries probably from madeline, calling her daddy at night on the day before or several days before her disappearence.

DN has gathered however it was common practice by the McCanns to leave the children alone at night whille dinning out. In one of those nights, they were seen at a bar in the Lagos' marina. :suspect:

Twins didn't wake up

One of the things that surprises the most the authorities and the Ocean club staff is the fact that the twins Sean and Ameli who slept in the same room as madeline, didn't wake up with all the fuss and noise made by more than twenty people that enetred there looking for the child.

"The twins never opened their eyes, showing they were in a deep sleep, not even waking up with the loud noise on the apartement that night wich is rather odd. They didn't even wake up when they were taken by their parents to the apartement of one of the couple's friends,", guaranteed to he DN a source from the resort.

I can't believe that parents would leave a child in an apartment, no matter how close they where. Its a disgrace!

Even if they have no involvement, how they can say they have done nothing wrong is beyond me!

As yet there is no evidence to strongly suggest that her parents had anything to do with her disappearance. I think it would be unwise to form a judgement suggesting they played an active role in her disappearance without strong evidence suggesting otherwise.
