The guy is a :censored:. So what, you meet many of them on the long road of life.

Lets move on and crush the next mob of unfortunates to get in the way.

If fact, the publicity we got from this incedent has, and will continue to work in our favour, over the corse of the season it will be worth 6 points. I have seen the future and it is Red.

That's true.

Refs may think "Uh oh, I better be careful with decisions against Liverpool now"

What would you all say to having a league for the refs..

IE. like they all play same amount of league games and they get marked out of 10 on every game now if they wint he league they get put forward to ref for world cups , champ league games , euros and so forth.

Now if they go bottom 3 they get the drop and have to ref in the championship and the refs that scor well and are the best in championship get to move up to the prem i think this would keep the refs on there toes and make them better.

Just an idea but little old me knows not much  :lookaround

Shouldn't we and Fulham at least be given another point?

They are admitting that the officials botched the match, so both clubs should be rewarded.

i say let us replay the match i be happy for chavski to come back up and this time we would crush them

Or give us the option come end of season if we come 2nd with 1 point behind chavski we can op to replay the match a title game winner takes all  :buttrock  :buttrock

We need to take our aggression out on Sunderland.

Then we'll go shopping at the local poundstore.

I think even the referee have respect for LFC because we are continue to be one of the most disciplined team in the league as we are not winers or "naive and pure team" team like CHeatski. That's why the ref will come out to admit his mistakes. There were many similar incident like this before but just happened to other teams but most of the time, the referee association will not say anything. We are not trying to ask the ref to favour us but just to be fair and make the right call. So, i think even the league will be careful in assigning the ref to us now and make sure the outcome of the game will not be decided by some obvious human mistake made by people other than the players on the pitch. Anyway, i think if we can keep playing this way consistantly, we will be fighting for the title by the end of the season. Rock on and walking.

Under-fire ref Rob Styles is on the board of the firm which paved the driveway of Chelsea's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich - although referees' chiefs have cleared him of any conflict of interest.

Rob Styles is reported to have apologised to Chelski boss Jose Mourinho last season after rejecting a series of penalty appeals.

Styles has been dropped from officiating any of next weekend's Premier League fixtures after his botched handling of Chelski's clash at Liverpool in which he awarded the visitors a controversial penalty. The Hampshire official has now admitted, "In mistakenly awarding a penalty, I accept that I may have affected the result of the match and for that I apologise."

Styles is understood to have contacted Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez on Monday to admit his mistake, but it is the claim that he felt the need to apologise to Mourinho last season that is most curious. In the post-match aftermath on Sunday night, Pool skipper Steven Gerrard specifically suggested that Styles had "cracked" because of the relentless "pressure" he was subject to by Chelski players.

'Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho had a public bust-up with Styles last year over decisions in which Chelsea were denied penalties,'  'But the row is understood to have been patched up when the ref called Mourinho to apologise.'

Styles officiated three Chelski matches last season - April's draw with Bolton, the FA Cup thrashing of Norwich, and, most significantly, the league defeat at Anfield in January.

In a separate twist, Styles, a millionaire in his own right following his dealings outside of football, is a board member of a building company that was paid 'a five-figure sum for work' by Chelski chairman Roman Abramovich last summer.

The Professional Game Match Officials have insisted that there was nothing untoward in the business link to Abramovich.

"Rob made the PGMO aware his company was undertaking work for E A Chiverton, a company sub-contracted to work on one of Mr Abramovich's properties," a spokesman said.

"The PGMO investigated this at the time and was entirely satisfied that no conflict of interest existed. We do not think this is an issue. We have discussed this with Rob Styles and are entirely happy. It would be entirely wrong to impune his integrity as a refere   :no  :no  :no

But I am feckin livid over that Rob Styles.
Our manager who never sleeps just worries about getting things correct in games against one of our toughest apponents only for it all to be undone by a referee who has dodgey dealings with the Chelsea owner.

You robbed us out of three points we feel cheated every single one of us.

We have the best team weve had in years now, they totally out classed Chelsea and look as if thedy fear no one.
We want number 19 we have suffered so many set backs over the years with numerous things and for the first time in years we are looking like title contenders.

And what do you do Styles? Take it away from us, there is no easy games out of the 38 that are played, but one of our hardest fixture you make sure we did not get the 3 points which we totally deserved.

Yes I am feckin pissed off and rightly so how dare you ruin it for us.
No point in saying sorry its to late now we cant get them points back.
Its eating away at me I shouldnt let it, but I feel really agrieved and have every right to be.

I really felt sorry for Rafa on sunday Ive never seen him like that never.

And its about time this intimidating and surrounding of refs from Chelsea and Man U players was put a stop to.
Straight red and it will soon be stopped its the only way.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

According to the news toolbar Styles has appologised.

"Idiot referee Rob Styles has apologised to Liverpool FC for his woeful display on Sunday.

Styles cost Liverpool a win over Chelsea when he awarded the London cheats a non existent penalty after Florent Malouda jumped into Steve Finnan. Styles has now apologised to the Reds and to Rafael Benitez."
