Ketchup man would be a fantastic asset to our squad and in fact, could be the missing piece in the jigsaw. Hes much better than Riise at defending and is decent going forward. With him around we would have a squad with huge potential to win big things and maybe even take down the premier league title.

                 Reina

Finnan Carragher Agger Heinze

Pennant Gerrard Alonso Kewell

            Torres Kuyt

With the likes of Voronin, Riise, Marsch, Babbel etc. are backup is more than full of quality.

I hope we can capture Ketchup man but I'm skeptical about the chances. It seems Fergie is to determined to not let him join us. Bollox

Fergie's possessiveness regarding Heinze is oddly....familiar.

Anyone any idea what time we should hear anything??
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Apologies if this joke has been posted but I saw it on Football365 and it made me laugh:

Manchester United's desire to block Gabriel Heinze's desired move to Liverpool is expected to carry little weight with the arbitration panel today who will point to the current league table in order to suggest that the likes of Birmingham City and Derby County--rather than Liverpool--are the Old Trafford outfit's principal league rivals. :D

A decision on the future of Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze is expected to be made on Tuesday.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and chief executive David Gill have travelled to a Premier League arbitration tribunal on Monday to argue that the Argentinian should not be allowed to join Liverpool.

The defender has asked for a three-man panel to decide whether United gave him permission to leave the club for an agreed fee.

Heinze wants to join Liverpool and claims he has a letter from United allowing him to leave if a club offered a fee of £6.8million.

The club maintain however that they made it clear to Heinze both orally and by letter that he would not be permitted to join one of their title rivals in the top flight.

A Premier League spokesman confirmed a verdict is likely on Tuesday.
