surly now is the time for some kind of video ref system . I have never been in favour of the interruption to the game before but now maybe something like in tenis, were the captain of the team has 3 objections per game to be looked at by the 4th official . with only 3 objections allowed only the really questionable important decisions would be called by the captain or maybe the manager. these could be shown in slow motion to the crowd and the 4 official give his decision in a mater of moments not affecting the flow of the game to much , what do you guys think ??

3 objections might be 1 too many... make it 2 i think...

I don't think video technology is required for decisions like the penalty made by the sh!t ref Rob Styles, what's needed to stop those dicisions is more refs like Mark Clatenburg and Paul Durkin, good refs who allow the game to flow and don't book people at every given chance. I'm in favour of technology for goals, like Pedro Mendes against United a few years back or David Healy's yesterday against Boro. It'd take only a few seconds for somebody to watch it and make the dicision.

yeah maybe only 2 and sure there would still be many contentious decisions but if the 4th official knew that the crowd was watching the same slow mo as him then at least all the clear cut ones like today would stop. also the diving would be reduced dramatically because the ref could see the dive while the game was still playing and could issue a yellow (possibly a second one ) to the offending player. this would have a serious result in either the amount of time drogba spends on his feet or on the pitch lol

Calling for Video evidence after that decision is pointless, there is no reason Styles should get that wrong apart from incompetence.
