My Torres tribute - Timelapsed Art

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Emerald Red » Mon Aug 13, 2007 11:12 pm

Hope it's alright making a topic on this, but I don't think I've seen a video of this type about our club and any of our players. Bit of a rush job on the editing so you'll have to click it to full screen Anyway, here it is.

Torres speed painting

Hope ye all like it. And if anyone fancies that as a wallpaper, you can grab it HERE. It's not the final image, though, as I've added more detail to the flamed Liverbird.

It's magnificent. It really is. The Liverbird in particular looks better than ever.

That would look great on a banner held up by the Kop. I'm sure Torres will be blown away by it.

Whoa man...I have to say, before I clicked the link I thought "oh great, another user's crappy art." But seriously, that's pretty freaking impressive. And in Photoshop, no less...not even Painter! You should be very proud of yourself.

Amazing work.

Thanks, fella's. And yeah, that would make my day seeing someone holding that up on a massive flag or banner inside Anfield. If anyone wants to, be my guest.  :wwww

I painted that in mind of the forum and to the appreciation of the Atheltico fans that came on here. They really do see him as a hero of theirs. I should have had one of the images in an Athletico shirt, but the Spanish flag is enough I think.

¡¡¡Joder que bueno!!!.

But I miss a wink to Atletico Madrid instead/in addition spanish team.
And the music. Im sure FT preferes "El canto del loco" more than Gipsy Kings.

Wow...I enjoyed that. Well done SR!

I love how the liverbird looks like he's shooting out of 'nando on the right's a$$ hole!

Seriously though - I am a designer and use photoshop regularly  (not to that effect of course!) how do you save all the stills to create the time lapse. Did you patiently 'print screen' a few thousand times or is there some command in photoshop which controls it for you?

...or does a magician never give away his tricks? :D

HAHA, I never looked at it that way, about the bird shooting out of his as*hole. I could have wrapped the flag in between his legs.
:lookaround

To answer your question, I use a seperate program called Camtasia to capture an area of the screen that I want and it saves it in real time to the disc. I then use it's film editor to change the playback speed and add music over it. Pretty simple to use, but a pain in the balls sometimes if you want to add special effects like zooming and paning, captions and stuff.
