I wouldn't swap Riise for Heinze for 2 reasons, 1 Riise will give us much more going forward, which leads on to my 2nd point, Riise is likely to score a lot more goals than Heinze. If we could find a young Heinze or even better a young Riise maybe with a little bit more pace than JAR, I'd take them from 6/7 million, but for a 29 year old I'm not convinced.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Who is the cover at left back ?
Aurellio is not going to be fit for the start of the season and is known to be injury prone, with Warnock being sold last season we only have the young lad Threlfall.

Knew i'd forget someone, but again to be honest he wouldnt instill me with any confidence if Riise were to get an injury.
I definately think we need another player.

Move Carra over to left back, can put Agger out there, can change formation, Arbeloa played most of his time for us last year at left back. I think we have enough cover at left back. It's 6 million that can be spent on a long term player rather than an emergancy left back.

It wasnt just the left back part that bothered me mate it was cover for centre half as well. And to be honest when i am saying cover i am probably underestimating Heinze, he has easily enough quality to be first choice at full back and put pressure on the centre backs as well.
Rafa's favourite word is possibilities and Heinze brings plenty of them.

Rafa's favourite word is "compact"

Heinze, wouldn't dislodge either Carra/Agger IMO and Hyypia is a better cover at centre half than Heinze. I still don't want Heinze as cover or a regular.

Thought I'd say it again, just in case anybody missed it the first 39 times. And if people haven't the message yet, Heinze wouldn't dislodge Carra/Agger.
