Thanks for the help guys, dont know if you listened to Century FM tonight, but that was me at 7.20pm. Abysmal, but some of those questions were beyong beleif.

I think you're right St. Micheal, but maybe the game was in 1993 (?).

All I can remember is Rosenthal skipping past the goalkeeper, steadied himself before inexplicably smacking the ball off the cross bar.

It was the worst miss I had ever seen until I saw a clip on tv a year ago about a game in South America (either Brazil or Argentina). A player dribbled his way into the box before shooting past the keeper. The goalie was beaten all ends up and the ball was heading towards the net when it suddenly hit a pigeon (!) that was flying past at the time!

I saw one in south africa many years ago,
High ball came into the area the keeper flapped at it as it sailed over his head it came to a striker standing completely unmarked at the far post. He rose to nod in a gift, missed the ball completely and nutted the post........blood everywhere .

its getting very hard Leon bit unfair really cos they are struggling for questions. I remember the first liverpool fan on they were must easier. How many did you get in the end??
