i know, and i apologise, lets get back to topic.

is it about the times we live in now? or do we just use less brain power? (10% now is it?)

are the poeple some say are psychic or whatever just using what we all could be every day?

Its like our sense of smell mate, we can hardly smell anything less noxious than a fart, while the bushmen in Africa can smell water miles away. Our senses have diminished while other's have retained some of their inate abilities. Something like that anyway?

the bit about death really freaked me out tho. dunno whats scary. there being nothing after death or living in some form for all eternity!!! my personal belief is that we live the same life over and over til we get it right (sort of like nirvana i guess) and this is where i think de ja vu comes from

I sometimes wonder about reincarnation. Its funny how you can meet some people and its as if you had known them before (either liking or disliking them). I find the thought much easier to accept than that of a supreme being sat in judgement, sending people to heaven or hell.

Yes, on a basic level i do subscribe to the principle of the 'minds will' transcending all things. There is no further Law beyond that state. As we are told in the writings of LIBER LEGIS. Like i mentioned before, this and many of Crowley's works are highly cryptic in their presentation...not at all easy to digest. But much of this work found sympathy with me when i was learning Numerology in particular..a field in which Crowley himself took interest through the higher study of the Kabbalah. I used to have the statement in my sig.

I know but i just cant help it how can you understand if your forbidden from studying/talking about it, i mean is that not just a copout if you know what i mean, is there anything you can say to explain the whole thing? whats its purpose? i know AC was very proud of it but why? im sorry if im making you talk about things you'd rather not.

Yer nice one Saint, another very interesting topic that id like to hear people views on. Another topic i would like to discus/ debate is UFOs and aliens, the Roswell insident ( witch for me is still some of the best evidence, goverments have been smarter in their handling since ) so come on then im sure between us there are many views opinions and even sightings, get em in here.

Actually, as i said earlier in the thread. These things aren't the easiest of subjects to discuss. Not least to those with closed minds, or even hidden agenda's... And especially so in a forum that to all intents and purposes is rooted in Footy afterall. There might well be a time and a place for all things to be aired, even allowing for the fact that there is a General Chat section. But as is becoming evidently clear, with post after post. Certain factions appear to rise out of the dust in an attempt to either ridicule others input on the subject, make mention of somebody elses writing skills, time the frequency of reply's, or simply pick holes in an otherwise sincere account of a posters previous experiences. You set yourself up for a fall with each and every utterance it seems.

You yourself have an opinion (i presume) on Crowley's writings. There are several works of his still in print. (I have valid reasons for not wanting to go into detail) some of which have been noted in the above paragraph. At the expense of incurring yet more exasperation, i refuse to reveal the true motives for my wish to keep council on this particular part of the thread. Anything else iam more than willing to discuss...as ive already gone to lengths attempting so far. If thats a cop-out, so be it.

Perhaps the thread should revert to its original intention. purely reserved for the accounts of others 'weird' experiences, as opposed to the inevitable quagmire of Theology, Religion and the Subtle mechanics of the Mind.

red, i fecking apologised!!!

i love the subtle mechanics of the mind, helps me in poker. as they say you play the person not the cards. reading someone in poker is very complex, as all people have tells, and finding them out in poker helps u in life as well.

as for crowley, well he was deep into a lot of things, but i know hardly anything about the dude i have to say except his hobbies were not the most savoury i sure

then theres the whole 'how come some people dont seem to have a concince' some people will happily kill animals or people, whilst others would not, how come?

dunno about theology, i know theres something out there, but feck knows what

There is a well documented case of this (UFO's/abduction) not far from where Saint and myself live. You may have read about it. "The Winter Hill case" - quite a read.

I'm not really sure if this is a ghostly experience or a UFO one. The only thing I am sure of is that its true.

When I was 18 I was walking it back from my girlfriends house. I used to live on Higher Folds Estate,(promised land for anyone who knows it) when I came to the football field that was my shortcut home. The field was set about 2/3 yards higher than the pavement so you couldn' see across the field without climbing the slope. As I reached the top of the slope, I heard noises (breaking glass, shrieks etc) coming from the other side of the field but being dark I couldnt see anything in the distance.

Thinking it was just some idiots having a laugh I decided to take the long way home and avoid any confrontation or trouble. I walked back down the slope (about 3to4 yards) and when I looked up there was a huge white thing looking down on me from the top of the slope. Not being the bravest of souls I ran to the nearest lamp post (about 20yards)before looking again. The thing had not only matched my speed (I was fast when younger) but had also decended the slope and was right behind me.

I thought I felt a touch on my back from it as I set off again at a gallop, and I didn't stop running 'till I had reached the nearest houses. As descriptions go it seemed about 6/7ft tall was all white and moved very fast with no sound. As for what it was I have no idea apart from it wasn't human.

I was driving the 126 - Leigh to Trafford Centre service one Christmas and i'd just pulled level with the Railings at The Bowling Green heading back to Leigh. Some clown came flying out of The HF estate and cut me up, as i slammed on and turned in to avoid his car - i too heard shrieks from the upper deck as the (almost new) Bus scraped down the side of those railings and ripped half the side pannelling off! :wwww

- no crimbo bonus for me!
