The only positive thing about so many people making queues and being victims of the advertising tactics, is that at least they make the youngest lads take a book and read it, which is not a bad thing.

Just like I was hooked to the lord of the rings or neverending story when I was 10-12, those books, shitty or not, can hook the children and make them a decent reader in the future. Nowadays children with so many PSP and Nintendos play less footie and read less books than we did.

Whats the need in this ?

I read the book most of friday night, came in to work, logged on and read this. You potentially ruined the book for me by writing this mate and its bang out of order.

I know its only a book, but its a popular book that some people would not want to know the ending. If I done this with Heroes or Lost you'd be up in arms.

I agree that if i am about to read a new book or watch a new film, i don't want to know anything about it until i finish it (especially if you know its gonna be good)

BUT is your own damn fault for starting a thread on it (despite not having the name in the title) and then reading the thread before you've finished the book. If not Dawson, somebody would've posted something similar.

Don't agree mate.

People start topics on Heroes and Lost but people have the decency to not wreck it for others and when in the past people have, there has been uproar.

Whenever I post in LOST or Heroes thread, I quote it and put it in white so people have to read it by highlighting it.

The simple fact is, this is seen as a kids book so its not treated with the same respect that the TV shows are.

I know dawson and I doubt he done this with the intention of ruining it but I was fuming on Saturday morning.

However I concur I maybe shouldn't of started a thread on it.

woof she actually doesn't. I have finished the book now mate and he is most definitely alive at the end. Nevertheless I was fuming on saturday when I was half way through it

i didnt say who she or he was! it could be that ginger dude or the teacher or anyone (never read any of the books, no idea what happens to anyone..)

chill rafa dude, id never really say what happened in the end as i know u gotta read it to find out that Harry Potter just wakes up on the last page and says
'it was all just a dream'
