Their 19th century stadium will be no match for the 80,000 capacity state-of-the-art New Anfield.

If the Premiership comes home to Anfield this year or next it will the perfect ending to the old ground. Rafa can then take us to the new ground having won the European Cup, FA Cup and League title. Also Tom and George will be there to finaically back Rafa's spending but also ensuring the rest of the club is taken care of, i.e. best sponsorship deals. So lets hope that we can win the league this year, defend if successfully next season and head off to the New Anfield in high spirits (if it's built by then and isn't like Wembley which ends up 2/3 years behind schedule)
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

One little thing I'd like to point out, it wasn't only Shanks and Bob who ensured our success through that period, Joe Fagan and after him King Kenny were also very successful and I think they deserve a mention.

I do remember those muddy pitches that were spoken about (old trafford probably one of the worst and they were playing on the old second division during parts of this period :D  , how football changes)
