What happens in a claim for lost earnings? anyone know of the ins and outs.

Reason i ask is, ive been off work for 18 month with a f**ked knee at work and now its getting to the business end (Last Op and settlement) hopefully back up and running by November. Their insurers have admitted liability etc..

only the social want the incapacity back (abar 6k) c*nts. And im in the dark as to how its going to pan out regards compo. (ill get a few K for the accident) but i want to know how much wages ill get back.

the lawyers keeping schtum until their medical fella has assessed me after the op. Of course ive asked him!

£5000 for knee, then £150 a month for every month not working, thats £6700.

so youll get 700 quid after deductions

eh

so the social can take back their 70-90 quid a week from 18 months ago. (actually its 12 month on INCAPACITY and 6 on SSP)

yet when it comes to my wage (which is paid weekly) the payback is nowhere near measured the same
?

thats the compo, i aint taken your annual salary into account, add that to it for a total figure
