Heinze anyone? - move to liverpool turned down

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

You’ll be waiting for that statement for the rest of your life. We have separate opinions and if you can accept doing business with Satan, then that’s fine, I’m not of that opinion. Heinze has worn the United shirt; therefore he is tainted and not wanted by me. If he signs with us, then I won’t acknowledge him as a Liverpool player. I won’t even say his name in any discussion, I do not like his attitude, and I do not think he is worth the money, LB shouldn’t be a priority and he is a United player.

Benitez also played down rumours linking him with a move for Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze.

The Spaniard says he is looking at bringing in wide players rather than defenders.

"Really we are working with wingers," added Benitez. "People can talk about a lot of things and a lot of names but we're working on wingers."

I oppose his signing and I do not wish to conduct in a discussion about this particular player. You like him and I don’t, there is little point discussing between us

So why reply again , just admit your wrong and I am right and we can move on :D

When you buy a player now, you buy his talent and ability, not his loyalty. Someone comes along who offers more money or a better opportunity and you wont see most players for dust. There are exceptions but on the whole its "show me the money" or at least the chance to win trophies that counts.

Does playing for another club somehow wash away the sins of playing for the mancs? Would it be OK to sign Gary Neville just because he moved to Blackburn before we sign him? No, because he's a true manc b@stard, Heinze is just a player.

a true manc c*nt is one like neville, giggs, brown, scholes, or in short the fergie fledgings. heinze didnt grow up as a scum unlike the others. i dont see why people should be opposing his rumoured transfer. besides, its the manure fans who should be complaining as they are gonna be losing one of their best defenders.

Gabriel Heinze has admitted it feels good to be linked with the likes of Liverpool.

Rafa Benitez is reportedly interested in the Manchester United defender, who has struggled to keep his place at Old Trafford since the emergence of Patrice Evra.

Speculation also suggests Juventus and Real Madrid are keen on Heinze, and the Argentine is refusing to rule anything out at this stage.

However, he insists he is thankful to Manchester United and will not make a decision on his future until he returns from the Copa America in Venezuela.

"The interest in me from important teams such as Liverpool, Juventus and Real Madrid makes me feel proud," Heinze, who has two years remaining on his United contract, told the Daily Express.

"But I still don't know what I'm going to do in the future and I'm going to start thinking about that after the Copa America.

"I feel comfortable in Manchester and I'm very grateful for everything I've received there."

Though his own future appears uncertain, Heinze hopes Carlos Tevez will complete a move from West Ham to Manchester United.

United are currently waiting to discover if they can push through a deal for Tevez and Heinze believes they are determined to get their man.

He said: "It makes me feel very happy that Tevez might come to United. If everything goes okay he will be joining an amazing club.

"If Manchester United want a player it's because they are classy.

"It's the same with Tevez. If United want him it is because he has what it takes to be an important player for them."

Has anyone got an update on the Heize speculation ?  Personally, I hope we can overcome the obstacles and sign him.  He has the aggression and strength of character that every title winning side needs.

Havent posted for a while hope evreryone is alrite.
On to Heinze he is top player, much better than Evra in my openion. Very decent going forward as well. I rekon Aurelio would have been off in the summer had he been fit apart from 3 games we havent seen him do much. Heinze is a far superior player and can also fit in at centre half if we need cover or a bt of rotation there. Siging him may also allow Riise to play left mid which i belive is his most postion.

Its not a buyout clause it a new stipulation the involves players with less than 2 years on their contracts, they can now buy themselves out of their contract and move freely to another club.

So we'll try and go through the channels and sign him from Man Utd but if they say no and Heinze really does want to come we fund his £6mill buy out of his own contract and snap him up....how can we lose? Unless he doesn't really want to come here.

He's just doing it out of spite and envy, not that we need any of his rejects
