Who give's a shit about Australia?  He's saving himself for Liverpool. :D
Besides, how many good games did John Barnes have for England? Or Robbie Fowler for that matter.

As a proud sporting nation, this has to be one of the most embarrassing sporting performance i have seen. I know we are not the most recognisable football nation but after the world cup thought we would stride forward. Anyway, the point of the post was to inform you all that harry's performance was probably in the top 3 worst performers. Apart from 2 decent crosses he was :censored:. He attempted to beat opposite player numerous times and sis not look like doing it once, his first touch was rubbish, his 2 shots were miles off target and he didn't show any ticker. Guys, i know its early but he has to get back to liverpool and train the house down or Rafa needs to start looking for a left winger pronto!

haha
it's not surprising at all mate
thats why i said we still need a winger (not a right back as some one said cant believe it) :no

got the ball on the right in the middle of their half, straight through on goal, good control and finished with his left as the keeper came out from about 10 yards,

the game finished 4-0 but that really flattered the aussies

Yeh Harry did better tonight. He did come on with 25 to go and showed his fresh legs and this is where i see him being dangerous for liverpool this year. Nice goal as peewee explained. That bitter cahill played well and am torn between him being an aussie but a bitter. I think harry needs a few more games in the asian cup and a few weeks pre season and he will be firing again. Good luck to him.

I hope so. Him and Babel should be plenty good for left sided players in a front three, I am just worried on who we are going to play on the right because Pennant does not offer a goal scoring threat, and that isn't Kuyts best position, and Yossi's overall quality might not be up to "winning the league" standard.

I imagine Babel could play on the right if Kewell was lined up on the left of a 4-3-3.  Some reports indicate that he is right-footed and, besides, Chelsea used to use Duff on the right and Cole on the left in their version of the 4-3-3, proving that you can still be effective lining players up on their "wrong foot", as there is a lot of cutting inside for shots on the strong foot in that formation.

Harry was playing on the right wing when he scored that goal against Thailand.

yea although he started on the left when he came on but he had to switch because he was left for dead many times when thaliand played down our left side of defense. he got switched to the right where he didnt have to track back as much while culina and whilkshire covered the left side
