If you're gonna live your life you live it, feck the fear of flying.

If the wee man upstairs says it's time to go........

Says the man who's frightened of being in the same room as a cigarette

Honestly though, that was the  first thing that popped in my mind when I read LFC2007 post.

Great minds think alike, huh S@int ?  :D

BTW Ciggy enjoy Tunisia  :)

I can't get my head round the theory of 'if it's your time an all'.... 'cause if certain people had been somewhere different at the time then they would've been alright, like...

I dunno, guess I just don't understand it...

I got a mate lives in B'mouth and he was due to take a trip on the Zebbrugge ferry...I think that's how you spell it...
He was ill and couldn't go...if he'd gone he might have died..but he could have just as easily have gone...

I didn't hear about it 'til afterwards...and was shocked 'cause he had a lucky escape...but could that mean that his time wasn't up??

I dunno...seems too simple an explanation to me....

I never said there was anything wrong with having a fear of flying, but if you ask me, it seems strange to put your life on hold for a fear that is highly unlikely to be realised. This is completely different to the smoking issue, and something some people are too thick to understand. I have no phobia of cigarettes, I have no fear of going into a pub with smokers. I just find it highly irritating and a detriment to how you enjoy your night and ignorant on the part of the smoker.

But touching a spider is hardly going to influence your life as much as a fear of flying is. Unless you just don't want to travel and never want to see different countries and different cultures in your lifetime.

Like I said, if you just have no desire to see other countries and experience different cultures then that is acceptable. But if you want to experience different places or go on holidays but can't due to a fear of flying then I find it sad when you put it in perspective of life. Unless you have some religious belief that when you die you will end up in vegas.

I never said there was anything wrong with having a fear of flying, but if you ask me, it seems strange to put your life on hold for a fear that is highly unlikely to be realised. This is completely different to the smoking issue, and something Saint and Bamaga are too thick to understand. I have no phobia of cigarettes, I have no fear of going into a pub with smokers. I just find it highly irritating and a detriment to how you enjoy your night and ignorant on the part of the smoker.

Why don't you do everyone a favour and p!ss off you soft little sh!thouse. I find you both highly irritating and a detriment to the site.

Just a suggestion but no doubt you are too thick to take it.
