Ah that explains it entirley then supersub, the other guy sticking up for us used to work under him there and actually took exception to what he was saying, interupted him and said that Liverpool may not be in that top three bracket but they were the only realistic team to make it into a four.
So much for anti-biased in the press.
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

The Press, radio & tabliod had gone overboard with talking about how arsenal, chelsea and the scums are in a league of their own.

They are now putting us in the same company as newcastle & villa.

We had a bad manager, bad spell of injuries & bad luck and still manage to finish 4th. With a good manager and luck, we would be able to close the gap between the "so called top 3" significantly.

I can't wait for the new season to begin. No more bull about top 3 and the rest....

Harry Harris is a complete plank then. I have such a good feeling about Rafa, I must admit I wanted MArtin O'Neil originally but I sense the dawn of a new era. Players like Baraja and Aimar would be superb but I think whilst Saviola is a great player the premiership is too physical for him.

Totally agree with you on this one. It is that much harder for strikers, especially if they are on the small side, to come to England from a less physical league, unless they were brought up in the English game like Owen, Vassell etc. Added to this is the adjustment to the language, weather, food etc which will make settling down that much harder.

Saviola is a great player.

If Harry Harris is an ex-Mirror columnist, then you know that his opinion is as cr@p as his writing in the Mirror!
