brilliant goal really... everyone was surprised when it wen in really... the way he hit it noone thought it would end up in the back of the net...

I had posted about the goal in the other masch thread, although it was not related. It was brilliant, Argentina could not find any space though Paraguays defence, even if they had three quick strikers with skill on field (Messi, Tevez, Palacio). Mascherano was the only player who did not have a man marking him, since he was the only holding midfielder on the team they did not find him dangerous but that proved to be their downfall as he made that perfect shot to the left pole. Im glad to see him trying at goal, hopefully this was not a fluke. At least every time I see him play im more convinced he'll prove to be as good a signing as Xabi at the very least.

The more i watch that goal the more it looks like he tried to curl a pass into the feet of the player in the box
