Do you want an example of a young player? Raúl González (17 years old when he arrived to Liga). This player is a star (5 Ligas, 3 Supercopas,3 Champions league, 1 Supercopa de Europa y 2 Intercontinentales) .

Mayday, juju, look around Raul, who played with him, some of the best players of the last 20 years. Look who played with Torres... Is easy. If Ronaldo would had bond in Qatar he would not be the best scorer in World Cups. If you don´t understand it, it is no my problem. And look, Raul 16'8 goals by season, Torres 15, wooow, what big difference.

After the last few days it is finally sinking in. We have signed a real world class player.
This is not a Cisse, or a Bellamy or even a Kuyt. Torres is a seasoned professional world class centre forward who to quote Simon Cowell has the full package.

Every signing is a gamble in some respects, but this is as close to a sure thing as you can get in football. He will score, and will score - a lot. But he needs to be given games; he needs to be the main man and not be rotated out of the side every week or two. If he is fit he should play in 90% of all PL matches as our main striker.

This signing will be worth an extra 15-20 points to us for next season. For the first time in a long time i am going into a new season believing that not only could we seriously challenge we might even win it.
