Murphy's testament - Time will tell

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Murphy never has and never will be good enough. Do you think he would challenge for a place in the Arsenal or Chelsea teams? Obviously no, if we aspire to improve then players of Murphys calibre should no longer figure. He is slow, lacks stamina, gives the ball away needlessly. The reason he has a high pass rate is coz he rarely tries anything longer than 10 yards. He is not a bad player by any means but i would be very happy to offload him.

Sorry Murphy and class don't come into the same bracket. Gerrard, Molby, Whelan, etc where class, Murphy is/was competent

He is a competent player who is good at set pieces and penalties but gives the ball away too much. Squad player at best.

I recalled Murphy had his best season not long after GH wanted to loan him back to Crewe. Perhaps he need a real kick in his @ss to get the best out of him. Already he has complained about traning method employed by RB...guessed he prefer the sessions with Joanna Taylor :D
