I have seen various reports this afternoon which state that Barcelona have made an enquiry as to the availability of Owen, Baros and Cisse!

Apparently they have requested whether they can take Cisse on loan!!!!!

Yeah, we break our transfer record on a guy and we'd give him away for a season for nothing, just like that!

Undoubedly newspaper thrash, but if the enquiry was made, Barca are cheeky in the extreme!

Other reports say that Benetiz may be prepared to make a fast buck on Baros so as to give him more leeway in the transfer market.

That must go down as either the most implausible or unbelieveable transfer rumour ever or Barca are on seriously hard drugs.

Maybe Real Madrid might allow us to have Walter Samuel for nothin'. They won't miss the £15m they spent on him last month!

the reporter who came up with this "cisse to barca on loan" story should be sacked on the spot.
