When fit he's the most talented player in the squad after Gerrard, but his body's fragile. The odds are he'll get another injury, or a recurrence of an old injury before the season's out, or before it even begins. Meanwhile he picks up 3 million a year in wages from us.
Have to say though that the poster who claimed Kewell can't do it in the big games is well wide of the mark. A fit kewell can be the difference in those big games. In his first season with us before his injuries started, he was our best player and scored in games against Arsenal and United. He dominated Chelsea in the FA cup semi the season before last and he was outstanding on Leeds' run to the CL semi - he can definitely do it in the big games.
Sort of agree with you mate, we have all been totally frustrated by Harry, mostly due to injuries. But tbh when i seen him at the end of this season he looks like he is actually in decent shape, he looks lean, far better than in previous seasons, and i am praying that he can stay fit....as it would be like a major new signing.
Big fingers crossed from me.
