Florent Malouda has revealed he has his heart set on a move to Chelsea.
The French international is keen to leave Lyon as he seeks a new challenge in a new league.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Milan have all been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old, but Malodua says his number one choice is Chelsea.
Malouda revealed he has held talks with Blues boss Jose Mourinho about moving to Chelsea and he is hoping a deal can be agreed to let him switch to Stamford Bridge.
"It's Chelsea where I want to go. I have made my choice," Malouda told Progres.
"I have talked about it with the coach Jose Mourinho and I have had direct contact with the club unlike Liverpool where too many intermediaries and sharks have entered the game."
Malouda saw Eric Abidal leave Lyon on Friday and he is keen to join his France team-mate in departing Stade Gerland.
"I want to leave, the directors know it and in these conditions I can't see carrying on with Lyon," added Malouda.
"So much the better for Eric (Abidal) and it changes nothing for me."

this gets on my tits as it seems the deciding factor is that jose has made one to one contact with the player and he feels WANTED as a lot of players seem to say is important
why if he was on rafa's list of players was rick parry not havin the lad over for bbq s and gettin him fitted out for a 4x4
i looked for the malouda thread but no joy ,,, i do feel this needs talkin about as it is not just about this player but our general attitude in the transfer market , we have the money now but the structure behind the scenes seems to be lacking, i feel that david dean would be a great addition to the board but i also have faith that the yanks have a lot of experience in the wheeling and dealing side of sport
