Also he ended Keane's English playing career by breaking his leg with a heavy challenge. :D

If Garcia is our best flair player that is a sign of a real lack of flair and guile in our side.

I think that is true. We have become a hard working side that gives away little defensively that play well as a team.

He has the knack of scoring goals but can be extremely frustrating. I would do the stats but I'm sure I did when he was discussed not so many weeks ago. How many other players have we got who come off the bench and make a difference? Maybe his all-round play needs improving but I reckon he should stay

garcia has easlly been are most dangerous player in he last 2 seasons. last season we missed him big time. i have just watched again the season reviews 2004/5 2005/6 (by the way if you do watch them you will wonder why we sold baros. but i went the games and know baros did not have the commitment required for us to win the prem}and he scored a lot of goals and changed the way a game was going. love this guy. has the ability to score the spectacular make. the telling pass. win the game

I think Garcia is worth having for cup competitions but the Premiership is too quick for him and he doesn't have the right frame of mind to work well in the Prem. If Luis Garcia plays for Liverpool it has to be up front or just behind the forward(s) because out on the wing he gives it away so often it's playing with a liability

2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

as i said before, if he leaves, we'll have less flair in our team than everton.

how old is garcia now anyway? 28? ???

I would not be sad to see the back off him yes he does score but the guy is a forward and thats what there surpossed to do. He just gives away the ball to much for me and i have always said that Yossi is the same kind of player but he seems to keep the ball a lot better. Would not be a big loss.

I think Garcia would be a big loss, he offers something no other player we've got offers.  We need the creativity, unpredicability and goals he provides.

Garcia has said during an interview in spain that he would welcome tyhe move back to spain and in particular Athletico, if that's the case then perhaps we should let him go because if his heart is not with Liverpool he should be sold

don't get me wrong i'd love to see him to stay with us, because even though he loses the ball more times than anyone else, when he's on the pitch he's capable of the magic to open up defensives or score an important goal that we sometimes lacked last season.

But if his heart is not with us then he should be aloud to go

big loss, no doubt about it...
but on the other hand... if we can sign a left winger...
his chances of making the first team would be limited since we'd have 2 class wingers in the left....pennant and (benayoun ?) or gerrard in the right... 4 strikers....
he's a great player to have come off the bench and one of my fav. liverpool players ...
good luck wherever u end up !

wont be missed at all imo. extremely wasteful and too light weight, he does carry with him some good memories (juve in the champs league at the forefront) but we cant win the league with players like him in our first team.
