If someone says something about a Muslim's religion, then how about they try the intellectual route and respond to the thing that is said with reason and rationality? Point by point. Break down the argument and respond.

Maybe that would be more effective than the old "Behead Him and Burn His Body!!!!" routine?

Very true. And i assure you there are many who do get upset, but get little coverage. (btw not me, i dun give a shit ). However is Mohamad is far more revered for his role in the birth of Islam, imo.

Actually, in Islam its a sin to criticise or even mock other prophets, other than our prophet mohammad. I've neve seen cartoons by muslim newspaper mocking Jesus Christ or even Prophet Moses.

So what's your view of the over-reaction of Muslims across the globe who called for "death to Europe" when a Danish magazine satirised the prophet mohammad?

My view is that we are all f*cked up! thats what i think.

The people to blame is the educated and non-extremist, but religious muslims who fight those type of violence. I agree with peewee 100% when he says that thoughtful muslims do not do something about it. I mean many muslims who aren't extremist want to talk but they are scared to because they will be labeled "traitors" and put on the extremists assasin list. Its chaos, the middle east is in chaos! I blame myself and every other educated muslims for not stopping these violence acts. We are letting extremists telling uneducated muslims what to do! i.e if bin ladin says we have to go to war with the U.S because they are athiests and that what God told us, many uneducated muslims who really don't know how to interpret the koran correctly would follow bin ladin's word! you know like all of them would "jump in the bandwagon". Its crazy! These extremists are formed through a political corrupt country, or western countries. To stop extremist groups from posing danger, you cannot send an army to wipe them out! its a bad idea, a suicide and they will never be wiped out. The solution is us, educated, humanitarian muslims who can end this, its a shame that we don't get alot of support

Yeh babu, sorry about that, I misunderstood it, I guess your right, my answer to it is that we do feel really upset because jesus is our prophet too and we admit to him.

If anybody should be rioting over Rushdie getting a knighthood it should be us English .The honour system is an absolute joke ,long gone are the days when honours we awarded sparingly and only to the well deserved . It would seem that nowadays any t'wat with a bit of pull can get themselves a knighthood.

Benito Mussolini italian fascist awarded GCB (grand commander order of bath) in 1923
J Edgar Hoover transvestite head of the FBI awarded KBE (Knight of the British Empire) in 1950
Robert Mugabe unhinged political gangster and self proclaimed president for life of Zimbabwe awarded KCB (knight commander order of bath) in 1994 .

No wonder so many now turn down the offer of a  supposed honour , who in there right mind would join a club with that lot in it.

If I was a muslim I think I'd be laughing not rioting .
