I don't know about anyone else but I am becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of transfer activity in and out of our great club. Our American owners seem to change their transfer ideas every time that they get out of bed.

At this risk of sounding boring and repetitive we have been constantly linked with numerous players and then we seem to lose interest, only to have the interest revived again once the price has been jacked up. We have been linked with Malouda for a while now and Rafa has been wanting to sign wide men since he took over yet we don't seem to pursue them hard enough from the start; leaving the player thinking "well do they really want me to play there or not", now I am not saying that we need to chase after every Tom, Dick and Harry. But for crying out loud lets make some decisions as to what positions we need to fill and with what players we need to fill these positions with, then actively pursue them in the transfer market.

Secondly, all I hear from people in this forum is " be patient", As I type this there is approximately 8 weeks until season 07/08 kicks off. And we have signed Lucas Levia. Still undecided what is going on with Cisse, still haven't got anyone to buy the players that we seem to want to get rid of, and yet we are all told to be patient and that it is all under control.

I find this hard to believe, somewhere in there we need to train for pre-season get all the players to start geling together. We need a new striker that can score 30+ goals a season - go and get one. We need to stop pussy footing around and start to make some statements show the rest of Europe that we are serious about what we are trying to achieve.

In Summary - lets BUY a big player (Torres) as an example and lets do it soon, lets stop waiting for other clubs to compete with us on paticular players - such as Malouda and Bent. Lets do some business. If we don't want Bellamy sell him, stop hanging out for money if thats what's happening and lets just get rid of him.

If in the end we get the players we want great but if we :censored:

up like previously then the fans wont be so forgiving and neither will Rafa for that matter.

Part of the frustration we're all suffering from (to some extent) is because of the way we do transfers. Unlike some clubs, Liverpool are very private in negotiations so there seems like nothing is happening when there could be advanced negotiations going on as I type (I really really hope so). I'd expect something to happen within the next week or I will start getting worried.

Technically the transfer window is not even open yet, (you cannot officially sign people until the 1st July).

Give me some as well...Some fans said we should wait for the La Liga to finish first..well it did over the weekend.Now the tabloids say we loosing Malouda to Chelsea, Eto'o is staying put etc. We need to sign now.

Yeah i know, we are desperate for players right now, with the season just about to begin and all the other big european clubs so active.
