i still think that siging benayoun is not the required standard of player we require. again my opinion. i dont think siging Bent would make too much difference either, though i am a believer of Rafa turning a player of Bents ability in to potencially a very good striker. I dont think even Rafa could make anything more out of Benyoun and if we did sign him we would be going nowhere. i think Bent odes have more potencial but not at 18 million pounds!

You assume we don't want success in the league, you assume we should be shouting from the rooftops for Rafa to sign "Big" players. Don't you show any faith in our future under Rafa?

We're going backwards - Regardless wether you believe Bent and Benayoun are good for us, at least the'd be something, and they're both pretty decent players.

Bent would be a good signing I think.  He'd score goals for any team.

so your saying my views and opinions dont matter because i have not long been a memeber of this forum? i never assumed anything of the sort. I was simply saying that in my OPINION, IF we were to sign the likes of Benayoun and Bent (who we have been linked to a lot recently) it will not make us the club we should be - premiership champions. Only signing the likes of Etoo - Tevez (maybe) etc, could make the difference between us again coming 3rd, 4th in the league or winning the league. thats simple.
