What game you thinking about 3-3, the one where we were 3 down, well that was 2 by Clough and a Ruddock header, no Redknapp.  :p

Being born a scouser i had the pick of two top clubs in the city but one of them was rubbish and it was over the water from Crosby so Liverpool it had to be :D . My eldest brother was a red and i always wanted to go with him in the kop but he always said that i was too small and they would get me seats one day. That came when i was around 10 when i went to a game v Watford which if memory serves me correct was the last home game before the terrible events of Heysel. I was lucky enough to just see a Kenny Dalglish mastershow just before he become manager of the club. Seeing the kop that night from the Anfield rd was one of the most exciting times of my life. I was destined from that moment. I used to love the way Liverpool would come out onto the pitch and kick the 'fly away' footballs into the stands and the big crown paints pot in the middle of the pitch. :)

1971 I think it was Arsenal V Liverpoool, the one where Charlie George scored the winner

My dad had always been a Spurs fan something to do with where he was stationed just after the war.

So he had a great hatred for Arsenal & was shouting for Liverpool. so I was shouting for liverpool also & it stuck.

At the time at my school (in Lincolnshire) it was mostly Man U with a few Forest fans thrown in but if I remember correctly there were only about 3 or 4 Liverpool fans athough that quickly grew in the next few years.

I have over the years visited Anfield many times (but not enough) although living now in Huddersfield that has become easier.

I will always be a Red & look forward to many more visits to Anfield & the new Stadium

Since the 1977 FA Cup Final! I was just 7 years old and had always been football mad but was too young to follow anyone at that time really. No one to encourage me as my late father was more into the GEE GEES to football. I had a big blow out with my best friend on the day of the Final. At the time he  happened to be a Manc I just knew they were ManUre and Liverpool were their biggest rivals, So I sais something childish like " I hope ure team gets stuffed by Liverpool coz from now on they're my team"! I know we lost that day and I knew nothing then of our proud history or what was to follow through my childhood to this day. However I follow the reds with a passion and am there to show my son just how much Liverpool means to me and to the Liverpool fans!

I first saw the mighty Reds @ The Hawthorns against West Brom in I think it was 1980 or 81? (can someone please confirm for me) I rememeber Robson backheeling and nutmegging Clemence that day and we lost 2-0 what a downer after nagging me dad to get the tickets and take me.

It makes or breaks my weekend if we lose or win, if we lose my weekend is totalled, if we win my missus might just get lucky!

I'm so proud to be a fellow Red with the rest of you even if I am an "out of towner" down here in South Wales and have travelled many time up to see the games and always had a fabulous time with the Liverpool people, THANX!

Since the start of the 1975-76 season during Sir Bob's second season in charge. I loved watching the always busy little no.7 with the big perm who works non-stop and his partnership with a big Welsh fellah up front.

I was living in England during my first stint there (1975-77) when my dad was doing his post-graduate studies in a university in Norwich. We were living in a town off Norwich and I took a lot of stick from the local schoolboys because they were Norwich City fans and I was the only odd boy who supported Liverpool.

Since 1974....i was virtually born with crown paints across my chest!

Best memory? Cup final in 86... and in recent times Collymore sticking the 4th away against the barcodes a few years ago.

Worst - Hillsborough (on the pitch losing to Wimbledon in the cup final)
