Signing Eto would be like going on a date with Kelly Brook, but then she couldnt make it and you were lumbered with Jade Goody, Yuuuuck !
If that offended fat ugly people I do not apologise

Last season we dominated most of the games against the top 4, with the acception of Arsenal. We bossed the Mancs home and away, and the same with Chelsea. On any given day, I'd say we can be at a level beyond that of any of the teams of the top four, IMO. If you ask me if these players will improve out chances of getting closer to winning it, I'd have to say no. They'd make good additions to the squad, but they certainly wouldn't have a massive impact on it. Not the calibre of player I'd want to see join us, and I'd be bitterly disappointed if we spent heavy on the likes of Bent.
Bossed the mancs home and away? We were awful at Old Trafford and didnt create anything. Chelsea away we played well but deserved to win? I wouldnt say so.
The next level isnt about beating the top 4. Its the ability to win week in week out home and away. Its the ability to win games when going behind.

As for Bamaga, Jade Goody isn't disabled, get a clue
bigmick wrote:On the question of the joke about the disabled kid, I think a bit of give and take along with common sense is called for on both sides. Whilst I think it's fair to point out that nobody on here would knowingly and with malice mock a kid who died at sixteen (least of all posters with young children of their own), I think it's also fair to point out that if somebody is offended by the reference, they are entitled to say so without being belittled or ganged up on.
The options are to close the thread, or to ask people to accept the other persons point of view, ie either a) the joke was made in the spirit of having watched the film recently, was meant to be a throwaway funny and not taken too seriously and was not meant as a slight against some kid who died at sixteen, or b) the fact that somebody found the remark in bad taste doesn't mean they don't understand scouse humour or indeed any humour, doesn't mean they are a PC bigot or a bit wet behind the ears.
I've gone for the latter course, not closing the thread but asking people to have a bit of respect for the other persons stance, even if they can't agree with it. Hopefully we can all do that.
