I think he is a good player, I rate him higher than Bent when on form but I don't see him leaving WHam in a month of Sundays.

Riquelme? And take who's posstion? Like LFC said, it's not our mid that needs improving. I know people say there's always room to improve, but how? I don't think it is possible to improve in that area. Going by the video of Lucas, it seems Rafa has found an attacking solution if Steve G ever got injured. He seems the kind of player that can play just off the strikers and isn't afraid to take defenders on outside the area and have a crack. Something we've lacked since the departures of Patrick Berger and McManaman.

He didnt have the best of seasons last year.  Was fantastic at Cologne.  Podolski said he doesnt want to leave and I dont think he will.  If Klose is brought in the summer it is Roy Mckaay who has said he will leave.

Podolski looked great during the world cup but has had trouble finding the net at Bayern this season. Think his tally is only 4 but I stand to be corrected.

Munich have some good players including Lahm and Schweinsteiger but being at a huge club already its difficult to get them over here.

Makaay is still knocking them in there so life in his legs yet.

Klose would be available at a cheaper price and is a proven marksman each season for club and country. Unfortunately he has recently been snapped up by Bayern along with Toni who impressed duringthe world cup for Italy and Ribery from France.

To my mind Toni, Klose and Ribery would have been decent signings for Liverpool but we missed out. Not overpriced.

Not sure if he would return to England but I always rated Crespo and he will get goals. Turned 30 now but if we are looking for a goalscorer short term then hes still decent.

There are players that I think could have done a job for Liverpool but gone already.

Hopefully we have better players lined up to sign soon  :shifty

As the end of the liga approaches real movements, and real quotes begin to happen in Spain.

Madrid has made official they're after Kaka, has talked with Kaka's father, and Galliani has acknowledged that fact, and has answered he won't sell Kaka. I don't know what will happen, but in Madrid they plan to break the market and pay more money than with Beckham. They talk of a fee of 80M Euros, about 65M pounds I think, with astronomic numbers and all the image rights for the player. The offer seems serious.

Rijkaard eluded to talk about the future of Eto'o in the other hand and just said that some decissions are up to the club. "We have great players, they know the facts, and they make decissions" he said more or less.

Gabi Milito the CB in the other hand is closer and closer to Delle Alpi, and all indicates he's going to play for Juve next year.

Bremen want Podolski for Klose but Bayern dont want to lose Podolski.

"Bayern do not want to lose Podolski, and we don't want to let Klose go," Werder chairman Juergen Born told Bild.

Werder dont seem to care that next year Klose can go to Bayern for free.

Your right that Toni, Klose or Ribery were not overpriced but the difference is Bayern are ready to pay huge wages.  Ribery is meant to be on more than £100,000 a week and no-one else would of payed him that.  Toni must be on massive wages as well.

Crespo is pure class but his signed to Inter now.

How does that quote from the Bremen chairman in any way match what you have said?

You have done the same thing that all these idiot journalists have been doing over the past month by assuming he means this or that and not taking the comment at face value.

What more does the chairman have to say.  They know Klose wants to go to Bayern but want podolski in return.  Journalists are just quoting the chairman.

Bundesliga - Werder Bremen are refusing to let striker Miroslav Klose move to Bayern Munich unless they get Lukas Podolski in return.

Klose was recently quoted as saying he will move to the Bavarian giants, but not until 2008 when his contract expires.

Werder are loathe to lose the 2006 World Cup Golden Boot winner, and are trying everything in their power to keep him, including asking for Podolski, Klose's strike partner from last summer.

"Bayern do not want to lose Podolski, and we don't want to let Klose go," Werder chairman Juergen Born told Bild.

"Perhaps Bayern think that in former times we always gave way. But we no longer have a financial obligation to sell a player."

Its pretty clear from the chairmans comments that Bremen are prepared to lose Klose on a free next year.

Please tell me what u think he means?
