I have no idea where you get the perception that Zenden and Gonzales are made scapegoats by some fans, nor do I understand how you reach the conclusion that the rest of the team become personal favourites. Most people appraise each player on their own and judge how they fit into the TEAM.

In the case of Gonzalez, I have to admit he simply played badly and that's all. Although I agree his doom came since we lost against Manchester United away. I think it's a common thing to have passionate fans. And passionate fans, when they lose against an archenemy, they tend to seek villains. If you win against an archenemy, the scoring player is forgiven of all his sins and becomes a hero. I think there's nothing strange in that, just passionate and common reactions.

In the case of Zenden, sometimes he played badly, but sometimes he didn't, but if the score wasn't good, rotations were criticised and Zenden was put an example of why we lost or drew a game, when he wasn't the worst player in the pitch whatsoever.

I agree Zenden is not good enough for this Liverpool, but I also agree his name was mentioned a bit harshly after *some* games this season in this forum.

i don't see any reason to get rid of the guy, especially given the dismal scoring exploits of our midfield last season.

the guy will guarantee you double figures every season and he's not even a front man.

Luis as an impact sub and for Europe St Mike, not for our 1st team in the league. If we don't need the money for new transfers then why not keep him, but let's not big him up as the flair player we've been missing these past few months.

Anyway, quite simple....

Should we keep luis garcia?? and where does he fit into next seasons plans?

Doesn't seem to be much support for him playing on the right (based on that poll) and many people seem to want Tevez or some other random new player to play behind the main striker. There have even been suggestions that people would prefer Kuyt to play in this position next season.

So again my Question is this, what will his role be next season, does he have one?

I think he is a very useful player to have in the squad. As frustrating as he is at times to watch he is one of only a couple of players in the squad who can produce a moment of skill and magic that can unlock almost any defence.

I wouldnt make him a fixture in the starting eleven, week in week out. He isnt consistent enough and does give the ball away almost a cheaply as Momo does. But unlike Momo he offers a goal threat, Momo offers solidarity in Midfield but we have enough of that, as the competition in central midfield is rife. But for " Lil Luis's " position we dont have the options to pick from. I'd keep him and use him from the bench most games, especially when a goal is needed.
