So I used to watch 24 when it was on BBC2, it was brilliant. Had the little show afetrwoods where fans could talk about the episode and how they thought the show was going. then Sky brought it.

No matter, I had lost a few years later on Channel 4. And really got into it, its not something you can just leave after starting to watch it... then Sky bought it.

Ok, one last chance, Prison Break. channel 5, a growing channel, they wont sell out. 2nd series about to finish, really enjoying the show... guess what? Sky have brought Prison Break!!!!!!

This is just getting stupid now. Is it even worth starting to watch something on any channel barr sky in case it is just brought out?

Now I still think that this has a lot to do with people downloading episodes. Viewing figures are down andthe advertisement money is not there, therefore sky buys out as they have the subscription fees.

Driving me fricking mad i tells ya. now im reduced to finding really bad polish badly translated soaps on 5life that i know wont be bought by sky, just so i can watch soemthing to the end.

Absolute disgrace by Sky trying to bully people into subscribing to a service which is basically freeview plus one channel

shouldnt have to!!! i pay my tv licence, and im hardly ever in. why pay sky when at work i watch every sports event there is and i won all the movies now anyways.

if pikeys on here would stop using the fricking torrents some of us wouldnt have to sell out and give virtual dictators like Rupert Murdoch an even bigger monopoly!!!

I must be really sad but i couldnt imagine not having SKY, or SKYPLUS for that matter.
We have 3 different boxes in ours.

bollox, its some con sky has with everyone to make people ahev to pay the fee. id get it if itmeant no tv licence, but im not paying all that for a few shows i got into on a different channel!!!

TBH I'm not into those sorts of programmes, they bore the feck outa me.

If you wanna watch them badly get a mate to tape them for you?
