As a parent of which im sure alot of you are on here i blame all these do gooders sticking there noses in why waste our money and time in trying to change these animals in prison or trying to reform them when they are let out. these are no ordinary criminals they are the scum of the earth they cannot be reformed.i say when they are caught just put them a couple of hours in a room with the childs family and let them know what pain is then ship them off to some remote island and put them in cages and lock them up were dangerous animals should be

I read a story last night in a magazine, it was about a 28 year old school teacher who had sex with a 15 year old boy, she got 2 years jail and put on the sex offender register

This in my eyes was totally wrong.

If Manhattan was one of her students, I would have used the information about her affair with the other kid to blackmail her for sex.

But only if she was pretty.

Of course the prisons are full, paedos should be entitled to an outside life, as long as we keep them people who are really ruining peoples lifes, ya know the ones, the OAPs who refuse to pay there council tax, the people locked up because there kids are truanting from schools without them knowing, the people who retaliate to burglars in there house, as long as these people are put behind bars i know i feel safe !

i cant believe what you have just wrote, how can you justify a peado should be entitled to an outside life these people are the lowest scumbags on earth they give up there chance of freedon when they abuse a kid. ok i agree that there sending some of the wrong people away for silly things but letting peados roam freely and live in our society you must be havin a laugh ill tell you what mate if i found out there was one living near me just put it this way he wouldnt be living there long :veryangry

Sex offenders and paedos, in my opinon should be castrated, kneecapped then left in a room tied up with the victims family for a wee while.

Its the lowest form of wit i know but it shows how messed up the laws are in this country when kiddy fiddlers are given redemption by the courts and judges all the while its the kids that have to spend the rest of there life suffering. It appears to me the human rights law only applies to the criminals and not the victims.

18 months ago a guy moved into a flat near our local shops and right across the road from the school for deaf children. He seemed pleasant enough, always said hello, smartly dressed and always polite and cheerful. 6 months after he moved in, there was a meeting at the local boxing club on our estate to try and get the youth club reopened for the kids, various councillors were there as well as police officers. One officer asked a 13 year old lad what there was for teenagers to do since the youth club had been closed, the lad said nothing, all he did was hang around the shops, park or go to his new mates house to play video games. When asked who his mate was the lad replied that it was the 30ish man who lived in the flats opposite the deaf school. The police officers face changed and all the parents knew something wasn't right. When the kids at the meeting had left, a group of parents, myself included, asked the officer why he had so much concern over this man, deep down though i think we already knew what the answer was. Although the officer said he couldn't reveal anything, ( something to do with this guy's human rights), he advised us to keep our children away. The councillors that were present ushered the officer away and told us we "shouldn't be concerned". After some enquiries were made, it turned out that this guy had just been released from prison after serving a sentence for abusing two boys, one aged 9 and one aged 6 :angry:

6 months after we found out, this "man", and i use the term loosely, had to be moved on, no one knows where to, and i suspect that his new neighbours have no idea of his past. If it wasn't for the police officer "advising" us, we would never have known either. Wherever this abuser is now, i bet he doesn't live next door to a councillor or to another one of these do-gooders who believe that paedophiles can be "cured", as long as it is not on their doorstep, they don't seem to care :veryangry

In America, they surgically castrate sex offenders and in some states also tattoo the offender so the public can see exactly what they have done, maybe we should do that here but i find that highly unlikely as the law here currently seems to always be on the side of the perpetrator and not the victim :no

read your post you said they should be entitled to an outside life. as far as im concerned they shoulnt even have a life.

Most men fancy women, some fancy other men and a tiny amount fancy children. They cannot change and therefore should be locked away for the rest of their lives.

Why lock one away for 10 years and then let him back out, he'll probably be more messed up than he ever was.

As for not telling the community, why endanger a childs life to protect that of a paedo?

Sadly, it is all down to the cost of holding somebody in prison. Personally I think it would work out cheaper per person if prisons were like those in Turkey or Brazil (i.e. extremely scummy)
