Rafa has said a striker is not his priority so there is no way he will sin Owen Etoo and Huntelaar! Hes already sined Vorinin so i can only see a MAXIMUM of two more strikers comin in... I think next years 11 will look somethin like this

I just can't see Alves playing right back in the prem he is a great player but can leave you exposed and with the pace off the prem that may be a problem.

name 1 big club i the world that plays 3-5-2...
in paper...it does look good but not a formation any big club uses on a regular basis any more...
too predictable and you get outnumbered on the flanks easily... not a formation i can see us using week in week out...
4-5-1... we need 2 brilliant wingers and a striker who can net the goals... we are 2 wingers and a striker short of that...

i think we'll be playing 4-4-2 again with the 4-5-1 as a backup.. so... yea

dani alves is the best right back in word football today..
his defensive abilities are impressive and his going forward is his strength... i see where ur coming from but i think hed make a f*ing great right back in the prem... evra goes forward alot and so does eboue... but yet both are still considered better fullbacks than say finnan and riise... it all balances out but what he would to the team playing at RB would be invaluable !

You are proberly right but if we signed Alves i just can't see him playing RB and if you mention him playing RW on this fourm you get a slaging match and i could'nt be arsed
