We only have a pre-contract with Voronin. Anyone knows if it possible for the deal not to go through?

Djibril Cisse has admitted he would be open to staying at Marseille, but has ruled out a move to any small English clubs.

The Frenchman is currently on a season-long loan at Stade Velodrome after dropping down the pecking order at Liverpool.

Cisse is unlikely to return to Anfield and they are expected to offload the former Auxerre man this summer.

The French international has endured a mixed time at Marseille as he has struggled to hit top and has also been on the receiving end of jeers from his own fans.

However, Cisse admits he would consider staying on at Marseille despite all his troubles this term.

"I tell myself I could have scored many more, as I have wasted so many chances," Cisse told L'Equipe.

"Some players could have become mad in my position, above all when I joined the bench regularly. But I could understand all that.

"Actually it gave me a boost. I wanted to show what I am capable of.

"There has been such a stunning change in the fans behaviour in just one day, it is very difficult for me to understand.

"It is not my style to hate someone one day and love him the next day. So I try not to think about it.

"Anyway it has hurt my family and friends, and I will not forget. Now I have to turn the page and go on being outstanding.

"I am not at my best physically, but I am close. Too bad the season is finished."

"It won't be a problem for me to go on at l'OM, but the decision not only relies on me.

"Liverpool has a word to say, even if I have no news.

"Joining a weaker English side? That would not be a very wise choice one year before Euro 2008. I already missed a European Championship and World Cup."

I suppose that rules out a move to EVERTON then :D

i wuld go for cisse, personally i dont like bellamy he certainly dint get many goals this season, and cisse got more goals, and he only had a year to settle into the premiership where as bellamy has been in the premiership how many years!!!?!?!, cisse has ground out goal after goal for marseille this year and where as bellamy has got now where near as many goals, he had the liverpool team to help him where as cisse has had marseille, now lets be honest everyone,.....how many of us believe marseille r better than liverpool hmmmmmm? yeah you know the answer! cisse is better and you would get more money for the sale of him, thats if u wanted to sell him!!!

Pape Diouf announced that Marseilles was going to start discussions with Liverpool at the beginning of week for the transfer of Djibril Cissé. “Between the possible one and the desirable one, there is a place for the realizable one. It is necessary to let the discussion start. Up to now, we were engaged on two faces, in championship and Cut of France, while Liverpool disputed the final of the League of the champions. We will discuss starting from the beginning the next week”, declared Diouf in front of the press.

I agree! Some club are maybe interested in him, sell him as a part of a deal!

For the debate: I voted Cisse though, but Bellamy isn't our man as well, I think.
