apparently we are close to signing kim kallstrom from lyon for 8.5 mil, thats according to wikipedia, dont know how reliable that source is to be fair

erm not too sure if hes what we need, we already have four top class midfielders so unless one of them is off i cant see where he is gona play because hes certainly no winger

i cant see the reasoning behind this signing like so maybe its a loads of bollo©ks

Wouldn't trust anything on Wikipedia to be honest. It can be edited by absolutely anyone with internet access so don't take too much notice.

Kallstrom is a half decent player from what I've heard though, so he could be one of Rafa's targets.

Wouldn't trust anything on Wikipedia to be honest. It can be edited by absolutely anyone with internet access so don't take too much notice.

Kallstrom is a half decent player from what I've heard though, so he could be one of Rafa's targets.

Kallstrom is a good player but even slower than Xabi, whether he could adapt to the prem where pace is so important I would doubt.

I think that thing on wikipedia is fake because where is says champions league finalists liverpool, sure liverpool would be a link to the page about liverpool? Not 100% sure though.

that doesn't make any sense at all, Riise isn't the greatest but he is a good player to have in the side, the problem with Riise is that he is actually better on left midfield but he can't be played there because we don't have any other reliable left back. I think it would be a big mistake to sell Riise, he's just had an iffy season but he still has plenty more goals in him.

BTW why is Rafa moaning like a spoilt kid, I don't like this kind of attitude, give me the money or I'm off. If I was the owner my answer would be, "Well Rafa, I guess you'd better pack your bags then, you're fired!!" then get someone in who understands how to win the premiership. If Rafa doesn't come damned close to winning it next season then we have to look for a new manager, as much as I love him in europe he just doesn't get the premiership or how economics work. The reason he hasn't been able to go for his number one choices is because the oney hasn't been there until now!!

Kallstrom is very very good. Not the quickest but full of ability. I havent heard anything to suggest Lyon are looking to sell him though.

Really interesting stuff from Guilliem Ballague On sky sports. "A great striker" Will be coming to us accordin to him. Obviously, Etoo Torres An Tevez Were mentiond. He said Torres is desperate to come to the premiership and desperate to come to Liverpool.

Ahh yes, but Torres is not a great striker. He is one of the most overrated players in world football. He spends too much time on the ground and his scoring record is poor. IIRC I think sabre said a couple of weeks back that most of his goals are penalty conversions.

I would be bitterly disappointed if we ended up with Torres as our biggest signing.

Yeah mate i agree with you. Sounds silly but altough i dont want Someone like Darren Bent, Id rather have him than Torres. Ballague also said that Torres' armband didnt say youll never walk alone, it said we wont walk alone or something to that affect, and it was a gift, and he just let it slip off him because he knew he was being linked with us. Irrelevent i know but
