Thing is, there were probably a lot of Locals there in Liverpool shirts winding up the italians, and its them giving us a bad name. Who knows?

Thats :censored:. it was liverpool fans causing the aggro. How can we campaign for justice when some of our fans behave like this? Uefa doesn't need an excuse to get us. We condone the authorities to easily. We should take defeat with good grace. I ain't no saint at home, but when i represent liverpool i do like the players. Because i love the days out and without them we will become a poor club.

Greek authorities were badly prepared but some of our fan's were horrible.

we need to get these fans and get them banned from this great club because all our good work can be undone straight away.

I support liverpool fc and want my son to know that its the greatest club on earth that can win and lose with great dignity.

Read my earlier post Bodiddy, unfortunately you cant stop the 0.001% nutters, all the coppers can do is react as quickly as possible to contain them.

How long are the Uefa 'bigwigs' going to continue tarring the english game with these outdated slurs.

LFC2007 is spot on about how nothing serious happens in our domestic game year after year unlike other european countries.
The overseas incidents that have taken place this season appear to have been the result of goading by foreign fans and outdated policing methods yet all of a sudden it is the way the british behave. :no I think these guys need to spend a good period of time studying the english game and the way it's run as more and more families are trying to get to games (when they can afford it) as it is now considered safe for them to attend matches over here.

Those pictures would appear to be from an isolated incident. We've not had any major headlines about it and you can guarantee that there would be if it had of been anything major. The few details that have been released make it sound like it was no more than something you'd find in any major town/city centre on a friday or saturday night.

All the same the club must take action to make sure these people aren't associated with our club any longer.

reg, i don't know if you was there or not but i was and i can tell you there was an awful lot of fans behaving terrible.

We all know uefa has problems but they won't change, they always pass the book. But we can stop this at our club now. This season has seen a big increase in violence involving our teams in europe. We mustn't allow the dick.heads to spoil our european tours

Just posted this elsewhere but it is just as relevant here:

I to was not impressed and witnessed a bunch of over emotional scousers at their worst I'm afraid. Outer cordon was fine when I arrived 3 hours before KO. Ticket checked ok, never had the stub removed at all though. Then further in we just were told to hold them up. Final check at gate into stadium. But!! In front of me a family trying to smuggle their kid in. Held up 4  tickets for 3 people. Then inside another family had smuggled their kid in. Guy came to sit down and they had to move kid between them on the crack between the seats. Later on is when I found out about those with genuine tickets not getting in. Truly awful and every person who got in with a known fake or nothing at all is a disgrace. I even had a guy come up to me asking if I reckined he'd ghet in with a blue leaflet!! Well in fact he'd already got through cordon one with it.

The pictures on TV showed it all with some rushing the gates. No excuses this time 'fans', you will disgrace the club if you start blaming everyone but yourselves.

ps what the :censored: was Collymore doing in the tent!!!

I was there and I still am matey. I didnt see much, if any to tell you the truth but I headed straight back to the hotel after the game to avoid any nastiness.

I have to agree with Rushie#9 though, we've invested million in the UK upgrading stadiums etc.. to stamp out trouble whereas in Italy, Spain, Russia (where its the worst) the violence, mentality and policing methods are unchanged. If europe doesnt act together in unison with UEFA then ultimately its a waste of time.

Forgot to mention. That ran out of water BEFORE kick off, no decent bogs and that fan zone was nothing more than a mass of concrete!

A really, really disappointing night last night, and now to check in tonight to hear about all this. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Obviously there'll be p*ssed up idiots, but from what I'm hearing we're talking about a fairly significant minority.

Boils my blood, this. I just hope they're all identified as soon as possible, shamed in print and banned for life.

I started this thread a while back, asking fans to shop people they know to be troublemakers away in Europe, and this is exactly why I started it. Most of the responses were "it's the bizzies job" and "it's not in my nature to shop anyone". I hope people aren't quite so blind to doing the right thing now that it's real once again for all of us to see, and it's not inconceivable that it could result in some kind of fine or even a ban.

These c*nts need to be kept well away from our matches. End of.

Reg, in another thread you've said that you got up at 615 am and went for a run - knocking 1 minute 40 seconds off your personal best. But now you're saying you were at the match last night, went back to the hotel and you're still in Greece now?

I smell bullshit.
