The whole game was a complete disaster.

My points for the game -

Mark Gonzalez must be doing something terribly wrong in training because to have someone as slow as Zenden and un-talented as Kewell playing instead of him is a joke.

Zenden should be released.

Pennant played well, except his crosses were to Crouch and he wasn't on the pitch.

Out of all the shots we had, only one was worth remembering; Xabi Alonso's close shot.  SORT OUT THE SHOTS LADS!

The passes by Xabi Alonso and the tackles made by Javier Mascherano were perfect.  Nobody else in the Liverpool team looked like they cared at all.

We need some serious changes next season.  We need fast wingers that can beat players and cross the ball well.  We need another Dirk Kuyt up front (someone who can play and score consitently).

GET A GRIP GUYS!  WE CANT HAVE CHELSEA AND MAN UTD WINNING TROPHIES AND US NOT!

i have no problem whatsoever to rafa's team selection, we totally controlled the first half and made milan look ordinary and made them edgy with there sloppy play and uncharateristicmistakes ,and it took a lucky goal right on half time,we had the best chances, pennant, kuyt alonso gerrard in the first half,if we had some luck, one of those chances would have been a goal, and we had scored with our strength at keeping a lead, the trophy would have been ours. i am proud of this team and take heart that we will be better and stronger and will learn from this  bad experience.

Anyway I am really disappointed but you have to admit Milan deserved to win because they took their chances and made fewer mistakes. There's always next time anyway. I don't regret waking up and watching this match even though it was from 2 to 5 am on a school day where I have to reach school by 7am. I feel it was worth it.

Cheer up everyone...we fought right to the end. :)

I actually felt really confident going into this game. When I get to school I really am going to get some stick because yesterday I was going around saying I believed in Liverpool whereas all my friends disagreed and went for Milan. At least it wasn't Man U. My whole class is full of Red Devils man. Wouldn't have been able to take it.

:no

we created alot of chances, but we couldnt kill them off!

clear cut.  they were half chances at best.  I am disappointed to lose to a side who looked ordinary tonight.  They were there for the taken.  Crouch or Bellamy had to come on earlier.  Kuyt was doing work out wide, even when were losing we had kuyt defending in our box.

thanks for that...    :;):

what?! gerrard's shot in the second half, kuyt's shot in the first half, crouch's shot in the 2nd half when he went in. Riise's shot in the first half which was wisker's away.

don't tell me we didnt create any clear cut chances, we did and we didn't bury our chances!

From Turkey,
I can't believe Zenden,
he's not, he can not, very bad choice
ı m crying..........

Liverpool fans do not cry over a lost game.

You support a team which is European footballing aristocracy and you have to learn to accept the occasional defeat.

2001 FA Cup Final ring any bells?

We were undoubtably the better team in the middle of the park however they could finish (well ish) we simply could not

YEa owen saved us in 2001 fa cup final. i hope he do come back from newcastle. Hope rafa buys him back. he is worth 16 millions and he is a scouser.

I'd have taken Alonso off ahead of Mascherano, but it's all ifs and maybes to be honest.

Finnan had to come off - he'd been walking for 10 minutes before he was subbed. Maybe Bellamy would've been a better option than Arbeloa at that stage, but the damage had already been done.

For me, playing Gerrard off Kuyt worked well, but limited our options in the box. Had Crouch been up there, with Gerrard rampaging from deep, Pennant and Kewell would have had more to aim at. Alonso and Mascherano both played well though I thought, so it's all academic.

To be honest, I think some people should get their heads around the fact that - sometimes - football matches just go away from you however good your tactics are. The goal a minute before half time was cruel in every way, and made all the difference. We looked a lot less composed after the break knowing the threat on the break was always on. Once uneasiness crept in, particularly with Agger second half, Milan's passing game was snappier, and they ultimately made us pay.

Yeah I am. Singapore  :)

Can't stand it really..the whole of this region (South East Asia) is basically Red Devils zone. Until now...I haven't really found many Liverpool fans among my schoolmates.
