Never mind.

It's 1-1 in the Great Scouse/Milanese European PlayOffs.

Some how I was not that disappointed because the moment Rafa fecked up by bringing on Kewell for Zenden when Kuyt was crying for a partner, I knew this game is lost already. He screwed up this match as Milan were so ordinary and we should have had Crouch and high balls pounding at them.

Seedorf and Kaka, apart from the pass for Milan's second goal, were absent. Milan's defenders did not have that much to do because Kuyt alone against those oldies were no match at all wheareas Kuyt himself dropped deep too many times to trouble them.

WTF, they didn't even play the three minutes of stoppage time with two substitutions to boot.

Nah mate not quite, we made them look ordinairy through Rafas tactics, for sure.

Although I do agree Kuyt wasnt effective enough for 90 mins, his touch and movement is something to be desired.

I thought Rafa had his tactics spot on, maybe not quite the personell but we did have the half chances in the first half to go ahead.

Small consolation I know but at least were not sat here having just lost to Man Utd, as my missus just kindly pointed out in an attempt to cheer me up !

A fluke goal and a momentary lapse of concentration.

That's what beat us. Seedorf, Kaka and Gattuso did nothing throughout the game.

Squad needs to be improved but it all looks very promising for summer.

Well done to the lads.

Congratulations to AC Milan.
