kuyt up front alone............bad call

zenden on the left..........bad call

pennant starting..........bad call

i hope rafa dont live to regret these selections...

crouch will terrorise the italian centre backs, they aint used to that kinda size......and i would have had the big match player jonny riise left mid....with a arbeloa left back.......

gerrard right mid, mascher and alonso centre mids

i dont mean to be negative but i dont like the team rafa has put out

pennant is not a big match player.........get him out

zenden isnt any good.......riise is a big match player and should be further up the pitch

crouch should start

any why gonzo and kewell both on the bench

fowler should have been there for possible penalties.

I dont think thats too bad in all honesty. After watching Zenden, we know he's nothing special but pretty solid still. And of course That means Kewell can make an impact later on with his pace.

Pennant on current form deserves his place IMO.

Kuyt hmm not sure would of liked to see Crouch, but ya know Kuyt will pressure their aged backline and run alnight.\
