Im pretty new to this forum, but i've noticed a lot of posts and mentions of DrummerPhil, obviously he was a special man, my thoughts are with his family, it's never easy losing someone, no matter how many times it happens to you. God Bless
You can buy all the quality you like, but without desire, passion and the insatiable will to win, it’s nothing.

Well, it's taken me 6 months to join the forum and to post a message on here about my friend "Drummerphil". I was absolutely devastated when I heard that Phil had passed. I was bezzie mates with Phil @ school, and it was he who gave me the love for Liverpool FC. Every day that passes he is in my thoughts and I know that come Wednesday 23rd May 2007 he will be sat with our legends Shankley, Paisley, Hughes urging our lads on to a 6th European champions cup and more.
Phil, I am and always will be proud to say that you are friend. I carry my Liverpool badge by heart with pride for you my friend. And in September I will be doing watch you also loved, singing Queen songs in We Will Rock You in Stoke. Rest in peace mon brav. Be our 12th man.

I'm sad to say I lost touch with Phil and his family over the years, only ever seeing him, his brother and his sis every once in a blue moon. Our family's go way back. Phil and I used to sit and watch Match of the Day upstairs of his mum and dad's pub. His sister thought we playing Starwars, but me and phil were to busy watching the lads... He was a great bloke, such a wicked sense of humour, a very talented footie player too.But most of all he was a great mate. Wise beyong his years, and knowledgeable...wow.. what he didn't know, doesn't need to be mentioned.

"Be our 12th Man"  beautifully said  - Phil's memory lives on in here as and as Ciggy says he was part of this family.

Nice to hear from you Tony  :)

Welcome and thankyou, the love that Phil so easily gave to those that knew him keeps him alive in our hearts forever.
Will visit his grave before the game, light a candle and place red, white and a splash of yellow flowers.

C'mon you Reds you have support sent from the heavens above!! :buttrock
