The Searchers - classic, most of his westerns where great.

I found his war films embarressing though, especially the Green Berets.

got to be el dorado for me (no bunny jesse birdsall jokes). Absolute gem of a film. Also liked rio bravo tho.

Wasn't el dorado and rio bravo basically the same film mate? Different actors same story
